Loading the recording
Ken went over first.
"Do you want to play?" he said, very slowly.
Leo looked at him.
So Ken said it again, much louder. "DO YOU WANT TO PLAY?"
Leo shook his head. He did not mean no. He just did not know what Ken was asking him.
Ken gave up and went to play football.
Then Meg went over. But Meg did not say anything at all.
She sat down next to Leo. She opened her notebook and drew a football. Next to it she drew a big question mark.
Leo looked at the page for a moment. Then he took the pencil out of her hand.
He drew a basketball hoop.
Meg drew a very wobbly basketball. Leo drew a much better one underneath it.
They both laughed. It was the first time Leo had laughed all week.
