On Monday it rained hard at home time. Mia had no umbrella. She stood under the school roof and watched the puddles grow.
Old Mrs. Lee stopped beside her and held out her big black umbrella. "We can share," she said.
She walked Mia all the way home. Half of Mrs. Lee's coat got wet.
