On Tuesday, Mia saw Ben drop his lunch box. His rice went all over the floor. Everybody else walked straight past. Mia knelt down and helped him clean it up. Then she gave him half of her sandwich.
On Wednesday, Ben saw a small boy crying by the gate. His shoelace was in a knot he could not undo. Ben sat down and worked at it until it came loose.
On Thursday, that small boy gave his very last sticker to a girl who had none.
